Website analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits and recipe discovery interactions. Analytics tags load only after you allow analytics cookies. You can decline or change your choice using Analytics preferences at the bottom of the site. We do not send comment text, contact messages, email addresses, search text or Google sign-in profile data as analytics event parameters. Measurement URLs exclude search text and other query parameters except validated campaign source, medium and campaign tags; advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

No account required

You can browse, watch videos, and read existing comments without creating an account. Google sign-in is required only to post comments. Saved foods stay in this browser’s local storage and do not sync across devices.

Google sign-in

When you choose to sign in, the website uses Google Identity Services; the Android app uses Android Credential Manager to select your Google account. Our server verifies your Google identity and creates a secure, HTTP-only session cookie lasting up to seven days. We store a Google account identifier, display name and optional profile photo to support comments. We do not request access to Gmail or Drive and do not store your Google password. Sign-out revokes the current site session. Expired login challenges and sessions are removed during later sign-ins.

Public comments

Your Google display name, profile photo when available, comment, moderation status, and posting date are stored on our servers and displayed publicly. Avoid sharing personal information. We store a one-way hash of the network address to limit repeated posts. Links are blocked in comments. Comments on this site are separate from YouTube comments.

Community rules

By posting, you agree to keep comments relevant to cooking. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, personal information, spam and illegal content are prohibited. Report a comment or user using Report beneath the comment. Block user hides that person’s comments on this device. The operator reviews reports and may remove comments or restrict accounts.

and include the relevant page or video URL.

Contact messages are private and are sent to the site operator through our email provider, Resend. They are not published on the site. No login is required. Your email address is required so the operator can reply. It is included in the private message and is not published. Network-address hashes are used to limit spam. If sending fails, the form keeps your draft and does not claim that your message was submitted.

Video & image sources

Videos are embedded from YouTube and belong to their respective creators. Video thumbnails are served by YouTube. Pressing play connects your browser to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. YouTube may collect information under its own policies. See Google’s privacy policy and YouTube’s terms. Creator attribution appears with videos. Written recipe links are checked against the dish name and cooking style.

Original recipe links

Original recipe references are manually curated external links. Recipe photos, instructions and quantity tables are not reproduced. The original page opens in a new browser tab or inside the Android app and may have its own cookies and privacy policy. These are independent discovery links, not an official partnership. A written-recipe button links to a reviewed reference recipe for the same dish. It is not a claim that the linked recipe is the original source of the video: ingredients, quantities and methods may differ. Unmatched references and recipe-search results are not shown as recipe buttons.

Video review

Recipe discovery uses strict YouTube SafeSearch and checks public availability, embedding permissions, age restrictions, dish names and recipe signals in video metadata. Unclear candidates stay in a private review queue. These checks do not inspect every frame or guarantee that a video is appropriate. Use Report an issue below a player to flag unrelated or inappropriate content for operator review.

Editorial sources & corrections

BTSKFOOD is an independent discovery portal. Video titles and creator names come from YouTube. A food-guide link identifies a source checked for that dish’s general description, including Korea Tourism Organization guides where available. Other introductions are general editorial descriptions, not transcripts or verified ingredient lists for the selected video. Written recipes remain optional same-dish references.

Food summaries help you choose a dish; use the creator’s tutorial for exact ingredients, quantities and methods. We do not claim that every video has been watched in full. Report an issue beside a player, or contact us with a page URL, to request a correction. We do not change editorial dates merely because view counts or availability were refreshed.

Food information

Food introductions are editorial guides. Check the creator’s recipe for quantities and instructions. We do not publish unverified ratings, calories, cooking times, or drama episode claims. New discoveries may contain video metadata without a complete written recipe.

Android app advertising

The Android app uses Google AdMob to display banner ads in a separate area below the content. Google’s advertising SDK may process device identifiers, network information, ad interactions and diagnostic information under Google’s privacy policy. Where a consent message is required, the app requests your privacy choices before requesting ads. Use Ad privacy settings in the app to revisit your choices when that option is required. Website Analytics preferences controls website analytics separately. Deleting your BTSKFOOD comments does not delete information held independently by Google; use Google’s privacy controls for that information.

Advertising

Advertising spaces are separated from video controls and recipe links. Ads may load when advertising is enabled and the applicable consent requirements are met. Availability depends on Google’s review and the publisher’s settings. Google may use cookies and related technologies when ads are served. Grocery links are ordinary external links without affiliate commission.

Automated discovery

New videos can be registered from verified public sources through a protected publishing interface. Duplicate video IDs are not republished. Existing content remains available when a source cannot be reached.
